JAMES WHITEHEAD

Hi, I’m James - I’ve been a freelance photographer since 2021. I’m currently working as Charlton Athletic Women’s official photographer.

In that time, l’ve worked with clients of all types (including, but not limited to: Crystal Palace, Exeter City, Bristol Rovers, Yeovil Town, Charlton Athletic Women), and have been published internationally (ESPN, The Times, The Telegraph, Daily Mail, L’Equipe, BBC, Sky Sports, etc). I’ve worked at competitions and leagues of all levels, from the Champions League, Premier League, Gallagher Rugby Premiership and Women’s World Cup, to the National League, National League South and youth level (PL2).

Since becoming a sports photographer, I’ve developed a reputation for learning quickly and adopting feedback in a timely manner, as well as being a hard worker (and frequent driver!). Proficient in sending images live (edited on laptop and sent off via FTP, or FTP functionality on my camera bodies), quickly at no cost to quality, and on camera flash as well as off camera lighting.
